Saint Kitts and Nevis was the first Caribbean country to launch the Citizenship by Investment program, established in 1984 in order to support the economic growth and expand the private and public sectors of the economy. Citizenship by investment in St. Kitts and Nevis is available through two options.
The citizenship program of Saint Kitts and Nevis holds the strongest credentials for being the oldest citizenship program in the Caribbean. The applicant must invest in a government-approved real estate project within Saint Kitts and Nevis at a minimum value of US $200,000 (resalable after 7 years) or US $400,000 (resalable after 5 years).
