Saint Kitts and Nevis was the first Caribbean country to launch the Citizenship by Investment program, established in 1984 in order to support the economic growth and expand the private and public sectors of the economy. In return, it allows foreign investors obtain permanent legal citizenship and second passport within 4 to 6 months. St. Kitts & Nevis has a strong track record of issuing second citizenship to investors on an international level. Notice: The citizenship program of Saint Kitts and Nevis restricts nationals from Afghanistan and Iran from applying to the program.

The citizenship program of Saint Kitts and Nevis holds the strongest credentials for being the oldest citizenship program in the Caribbean. It does not require an applicant to take any language test nor do they need to reside or visit the country. St Kitts and Nevis passport holders can vote, purchase property, hold dual citizenship, as well as live and work in the country.

Saint Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Options
Option 1: The Sustainable Growth Fund (Donation) - Limited time offer until 30 June 2023
The Sustainable Growth Fund was launched to benefit all citizens by empowering priority areas such as local business cultivation, national culture, tourism, infrastructure, healthcare, and education. A non-refundable contribution depending on the number of dependents included in the application:

Option 2: Real Estate Investment
The applicant must invest in a government-approved real estate project within Saint Kitts and Nevis at a minimum value of US $200,000 (resalable after seven (7) years). The following government fees also apply depending on the number of dependents included in the application:

Dependents added after approval-in-principle of the main applicant

Option 3: Private Home Sale Investment Option
Through this option, an applicant with a single family can obtain citizenship from St. Kitts and Nevis by purchasing a private home with a minimum value of US$ 400,000 (resalable after seven (7) years). To qualify for the option, homes must be selected from a government-approved collection of properties. Two or more main applicants may share a residential property, provided that the contribution value of each main applicant is at least US $400,000. The following government fees also apply depending on the number of dependents included in the application:

Option 4: Public Good Investment Option (PGIO)
The Public Good Investment Option (PGIO) provides applicants the
opportunity to invest in projects that boost industry development or finance the construction of real estate developments on state land. These projects aim to maximize the employment of locals, bring substantial benefit to the people of St. Kitts and Nevis, and embark upon programs including the transfer of technology and local capacity building. The minimum investment amount for this option is US $175,000.
