Saudi Arabia and Vanuatu Sign Protocol to Establish Diplomatic Relations

Today at the Ministry, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, received the Prime Minister of the Republic of Vanuatu, Bob Loughman Weiber, and his accompanying delegation.

Over the course of the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the potential for developing those relations. They reviewed possibilities for achieving their common interests.

After the meeting, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vanuatu Marc Ati, signed a draft protocol for establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The event was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Protocol Affairs Ambassador Khaled bin Faisal Al-Sahli.
