On 18 December 2022, the Abu Dhabi Residents Office (ADRO) disclosed the main changes affecting the UAE Golden Visa in Abu Dhabi.
Mark Durzi, the Director of Operations at that organism, explained the new resolution for the UAE Golden Visa in Abu Dhabi in a short video published at the entity’s social media. On it, Mark Durzi announced that the duration of the validity of the UAE Golden Visa in Abu Dhabi has been extended from 5 years to 10 years for all Golden Visa categories.
Mark Durzi also reminded the public that UAE Golden Visa holders can sponsor their families, such as spouses, parents, and/or children with no age limits.
The UAE Golden Visa is a long-term residence visa that allows foreigners to live, work, and study in the UAE without a sponsor. The UAE Golden Visa is renewable and includes a six-month multiple-entry visa (to proceed with residence issuance) and the benefit of sponsorship for the holder’s main family members and an unlimited number of domestic workers.
The UAE Golden Visa enables different residence options for investors in public investments, real estate investors, entrepreneurs, specialized talents (such as scientists, inventors, athletes, artists, etc.), outstanding high-school and college students, pioneers of humanitarian work, and frontline heroes.
