A single tourist visa covering all Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries is now moving closer to becoming available and could launch before the end of 2025.
The GCC Grand Tours Visa will let non-GCC nationals visit the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman using just one visa instead of applying for separate ones.
The unified visa was first approved in 2023 and is now in its final planning stage. An official launch date has not been shared yet, but reports across the region suggest it will be introduced sometime this year.
This news is significant especially for many residents in the UAE since it is considered to be an expat hub, especially those who travel often or welcome family members from abroad, this visa could simplify regional travel and bring down costs. It will allow travelers to move easily between Gulf countries for leisure or family visits without going through multiple visa processes.
The GCC Grand Tours Visa is expected to be fully digital. Travelers may be able to choose between a visa that covers just one GCC country or all six. The stay period will likely range from 30 to 90 days.
