The Islamic Republic of Pakistan is bordered by China, Afghanistan, India, and Iran. The country has an area of 796, 095 km2 with landscapes made up of flat fertile plains in the east and mountains in the north. Pakistan is slightly larger than Turkey with a population of 188 million. The country’s capital is Islamabad but the largest city and also the country’s business capital is Karachi.
